Everything in the Plaintiff Jewel Mason’s claim is alleged and has not been proven in court. The City of Sacramento eventually settled with Mason for an amount reportedly in the lower five figures. 

I have looked into Melissa Swift’s accusations during her public comment and they are all accurate.

The 45 days should give the city ample time to create a smooth transition, though whether or not another interim CM will be named or if council will expedite hiring a new city manager remains to be seen. 

What’s not a rumor and a bona fide fact is that many Vallejoans want to see a comprehensive, national search for Nyhoff’s replacement, replete with community feedback, suggestions, and, yes, probably the occasional vitriol and gnashing of teeth.
