How the California Gov Recall Election Shook Down in Solano County

As of Wednesday, Sept 15 in the morning, here are the results of the Newsom recall in Solano County.

64.29 percent of the county voted “NO” on the recall. A “NO” vote meant that a voter did not want Newsom removed from the governorship and replaced. 35.71 percent of voters said “YES” to the recall.

Of those that voted by mail, 69.03 percent voted “NO” (71,096 people) and 30.97 percent voted “YES” (39,903 people).

Of those that voted in-person, 32.96 percent voted “NO” (5.130 people) and 67.04 percent voted “YES” (10,433 people).

In total, 118,571 people voted in this recall. Yes, that’s right, you are the “1” that pushed it to 71! Kind of cute.

For those that tried to choose Newsom’s replacement, Larry Elder got 45.91 percent of the votes. Caitlyn Jenner got 1.63 percent of the votes.

Eventually the dashboard should show how things shook down in each city; we shall see.
