Elves have informed me that former Vallejo City Council Member Marti Brown (and current Interim City Manager in Willows) could be a strong contender for new City Manager.

The 45 days should give the city ample time to create a smooth transition, though whether or not another interim CM will be named or if council will expedite hiring a new city manager remains to be seen.
